Newton Meter
This build uses springs or elastic bands to resist a pulling force. Interchangable gears are used to convert linear motion to the rotation of a dial, letting you calibrate the measurements for different spring strengths. Pre-set sticker PDFs and Inkscape files are available for free download and full instructions on how to design your own are included in the lesson pack.
