Dr Joe Roberts
Founder & Lead Tutor – Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, Maths, CAD
Joe is a local Liverpool-based tutor with a First-Class Master’s degree and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Liverpool. He’s spent over 10 years working in research and engineering, developing everything from thin-film materials and 3D printing inks to designing custom printers and running big data simulations.
He’s taught university lab classes in X-ray diffraction and piezoelectrics, mentored students, spoken at international conferences, and published ground breaking research along the way. Joe loves breaking down tricky concepts and helping people to build real confidence in STEM subjects – whether it’s for school, uni, or just curiosity.
